Muriel Debus

Muriel Ann DeBus age 85, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Pleasant Ridge Manor West.

She was born in Erie on January 21, 1930 daughter of the late Frank E. and Lois M. Blount Clisby.

She and her late husband, A. Lawrence DeBus, had owned and operated the DeBus Jewelry Store at 12th and Powell for thirty years until their retirement.

She attended First Alliance Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, A. Lawrence DeBus in 1985 and three cousins Charles Blount, Robert Blount, and Virginia Hayes.

She is survived by one cousin; Dorothy L. Lawrence Straw of Lake City, a beloved great niece Sara Grimshaw and her husband Harold of Girard, and a special friend of many years, Pam Patterson and her daughter Stephanie.

Friends may call at Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street( at Powell Ave) on Monday from 11:00 till the time of service there at 1:00 pm in the All Faiths Chapel with David Snyder of First Alliance Church officiating.

Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
