Momoko L. McClure, age 90, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Brevellier Village.
She was born in Tokyo, Japan on March 1, 1932, a daughter of the late Chikara and Kino (Morito) Sagaw.
Momoko was a graduate of Fujiswa High School.
She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Momoko was a Pittsburgh Steeler’s fan and looked forward to Bingo days at Brevellier Village.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Retired Major Horace E McClure; and her siblings, Ikuko Sagora, Namio Sagawa and Mitsuigo Sagawa.
Momoko is survived by her daughter Lydia Jo Maring and her husband Michael of Harborcreek and their son, Michael E. Maring. She is further survived by a sister, Yoshiko Murai, as well as many nieces and nephews, all of Japan.
Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Downtown, 602 W. 10th St., Erie on Monday, April 25th, from 5:00 -8:00 pm and are invited to a graveside service on Tuesday at 3:00 PM in Fairview Cemetery.
