Mitzi (Miriam) Radov Kerness

Mitzi (Miriam) Radov Kerness, age 92, of Erie and Florida, passed away February 22, 2024, in Florida.

She was born in Erie, PA on November 2, 1931, a daughter of the late Morris P. and Luba Levine Radov. Mitzi graduated from Academy High School and attended the University of Miami; she was co-owner of Compleat Kitchen, as well as a realtor. She was active in many service organizations and on many boards, both in Erie and Florida.   

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gene, in 2001, sisters, Anna Radov and Clare Levin and brother, Barney Radov. 

Mitzi is survived by her children, Anne (Jeffrey) May, of Pittsburgh, Suzie Hyman, of Florida, Betsy (William) Trabold, of North Carolina and Barry (Shloe) Kerness, of Florida; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and Maureen Walsh, who was like a daughter to Mitzi.

Friends are invited to a memorial service at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc, Downtown, 602 W. 10^th St., Erie on Sunday, March 3^rd at 11:00 a.m.
