Milton Oatis

Milton Louis Oatis, age 69, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at UPMC Hamot Hospital. He was born in Prentiss, Mississippi October 21, 1952 to the late Ellis Oatis, and Marie Hicks Lee.  

Milton loved taking road trips, gambling at the casino, bingo, and cars. He loved all sports, and was a very good pool player. Above all, Milton loved his family.

Milton is survived by his sons, Jaworski Minniefield, and Deshawn Martin, his daughters, Myonna, Mazirah, Kaucious, and Tokajionna Wright. He is further survived by his siblings, Patrick Lee, Yvette Lee, Dean Oatis, Yvonne Gamble (Larry), Tracy Moffett (Rudy), Evelyn Carr, and Pastor Marshall Newsome (Angela); grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Milton is preceded in death by his wife Mary Oatis, his step father Willie Lee, and a sister Kathy Oatis.

Friends are invited to call on the family, Friday, February 18, 2022 at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10^th Street, Erie, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 Noon, with pastor Anthony Harris officiating.
