Mildred Doritty

Mildred P. Doritty, age 82, of Albion, passed away unexpectely, Monday July 11, 2016 at St. Vincent Health Center.

She was born in Clearfield, PA on May 12, 1934, a daughter of the late Theodore and Jeanette Fleck Wallace.

Mildred was a homemaker most of her life and loved raising her seven children. She had also worked at OIC in Erie in the administration office many years ago.

She loved to dance and enjoyed gardening and raising plants. Mildred was very proud of her Native American heritage.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John T. Port.

Mildred is survived by her husband of 43 years, Robert C. Doritty; her children: Ted J. Port, Susan R. Port, both of Erie, Charles A. Doritty II and his wife Leann of Albion, Rob A. Doritty and his wife Michelle of Lake City and Dan R. Doritty of FL; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters, Jane, Maisie and Dot; and a brother, John; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, in Girard on Friday from 4 pm until the time of the service at 8 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
