Mildred Dedionisio

Mildred F. Mariella DeDionisio, age 94, of Millcreek, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born in Erie, on August 23, 1920, a daughter of the late Louis and Theresa Pate Mariella.

Mildred worked as an assembler at the Lord Corporation for 26 ½ years.

She was a member of the Lord’s Quarter Century Club and the Salvation Army Senior Citizens Group. Mildred loved to travel, garden and do word search puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph P. DeDionisio and five brothers, Anthony, Ralph, Frank, Gabe and Albert Mariella.

She is survived by a brother, John Mariella; two sisters in law, Rose Nims and Virginia Gannoe; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton West Lake Funeral Home, 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) On Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Trinity Cemetery.
