Michele Barth

Michele S. Orlando Barth, age 63, of Girard, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014.

She was born in Erie on January 2, 1951 the daughter of the late Sam and Bette Quirk Orlando.

Michele graduated from Academy High School. She was an administrative assistant at Calsicat and then went on to enjoy a long career in real estate at Spiegel Realtors, Holland Metro Realtors and Coldwell Banker. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Girard. She enjoyed sewing doll clothes and clothing for her family, knitting and spending time by her pool. Her true passion was shopping. Michele was very active in the Tuesday/Thursday group at Pulmonary Rehab. She loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Young.

Michele is survived by her husband of 33 years, Robert Barth; six children: Jeffrey Jacoboski, Jennifer Zinz and her husband William, Maggie Figueroa and her husband John, Brian Jacoboski, Jeremy Barth and his wife Jamie and Danielle Tessier and her husband Nathan; grandchildren: Caitlyn, Carter, Ashley, Abbey, Annie, Austin, Aly, Abigal, Logan and two more on the way.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, in Girard on Monday from 4-8 p.m., and are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday, at 10 a.m. in the All Faith Chapel with Reverend Bill Miller officiating.
