Michael F. Riazzi

Michael F. Riazzi, age 79 of Erie passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at AHN St. Vincent. He was born January 20, 1944 in Erie the son of the late Michael Riazzi, Sr. and Grace (Bruschi) Riazzi. 

Michael was a 1962 graduate of Strong Vincent High School and was employed at Erie Bolt Corp. for over 42 years retiring in March of 2006. He was an avid woodworker and trout fisherman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Doris (Cameron) Riazzi who died in July 2015 and by a brother, Dominick Riazzi who died in 2006.

Michael is survived by his two sons; Mark Riazzi and Christopher Riazzi, both of Erie. He is the proud grandfather of Brandon Riazzi of Erie, Cameron Riazzi and Alec Riazzi, both of Waterford, PA. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, in-laws and extended family.

Michael’s family would like to thank the staff at AHN St. Vincent NCICU for the exceptional care and compassion shown to their father during his stay with them.

Friends are invited to call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Downtown, 602 W.10^th St. on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 2-5 PM and are invited to attend a Graveside committal Service Monday at 11:00 am in Section Y of Trinity Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
