Michael Ochrang

Michael G. Ochrang, age 70, of Girard, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by several of the people who loved him most.

He was born on December 28, 1951, in Erie, a son of the late Michael P. and Dorothy Foster Ochrang. 

Michael has worked in construction and maintenance. He enjoyed fishing and being outside. He took pride in his home projects, working on his home and for others. He even had his own painting and remodeling businesses for many years before he retired.

In addition to his parents, Michael was predeceased by his wife Kathleen Zeeb Ochrang; brothers, Kenneth and David; and sisters, Betty and Barbara.

He is survived by his daughters, Jessicca Pfeil, Shannon Herbstritt, and Shelia Herbstritt; brothers, John Ochrang and Jim Ochrang; sisters, Margaret Geotz and Dottie Baker (Doug). Michael is further survived by his best friend and better half for 20 years, Carol Snyder.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard 16417. No calling hours will be observed as requested by Mike.
