Michael Mcginnis

Michael J. McGinnis age 52, of Fairview, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021.

He was born in Erie on December 15, 1968 a son of Thomas McGinnis of Fairview and Heidi Frederick McGinnis of San Antonio, TX.

Michael was a 1987 graduate of Fairview High School and went on to serve in the US Air Force where he served as an Aircraft Mechanic for four years.

He worked for the Bayfront Convention Center, Renaissance Center, Ron Desko Masonry, SKS Auto and Truck Center for over 10 years and most recently, he owned and operated McGinnis Contracting Services.

Michael loved life and enjoyed spending time outdoors especially kayaking and mountain biking. He was proud of his Jeep and enjoyed washing it frequently. His friends meant the world to him and he was always willing to give a hand to anyone.  

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Lori McGinnis; a nephew, Trevor Hemenger; the love of his life, Marci Brabender; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc, West Ridge 3801 W. 26^th Street on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from   4 p.m to 8 p.m and are invited to attend a service there on Friday at 11:00 a.m.

Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
