Michael R. Kennedy

Michel R. Kennedy age 79, of McKean passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at his residence.

He was born in Olympia, WA on January 22, 1945, a son of the late Robert C. and Jean G. St. John Kennedy. 

After graduating High School, Michael went on to serve in the United States Army. 

He worked at General Electric for 37 years until his retirement. 

Michael was a loving father and grandfather with a great sense of humor. He was a dedicated family man and also a very hard worker. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lindsay “Candy” Kennedy in January of this year. 

He is survived by his two sons, Matthew Kennedy and Justin (Jennifer Rogala) Kennedy; two daughters, Erin Kennedy and Molly Elizabeth (Seth) Davies; and two grandchildren, Evan (Marissa) Kennedy and Sarah Kennedy. 

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26^th Street on Saturday, June 15^th from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Hedwig Church 521 E. 3^rd Street, Erie, PA 16507 at 12:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Trinity Cemetery.
