Michael Hedges

Michael O. Hedges, age 70, of Erie, died on Monday November 9, 2015 at home. He was born in Erie, PA on February 9, 1945 to the late Orris and Anna Belle Shoup Hedges.

Michael graduated from Wesleyville High School. He was a meat cutter for over 42 years and retired from Giant Eagle Yorktown Plaza. He was a member of the Church of Mt. Zion. He loved to golf and fish.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother William Hedges and a stepson Robert Graves.

Michael is survived by his wife of 22 years, Patricia; three daughters: Shari Hodges, Melissa (Tim) Lucas, and Dee Anna Hedges; three step-daughters: Melinda Graves, Rebecca Graves, and Alicia (Jeremy) Clevenger; seven grandchildren; and a sister Levina Hedges.

Friends are invited to call on the family on Thursday from 5pm until the time of the service at 7pm with Pastor Daniel Caram officiating at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 W. 10th St.
