Michael Godfrey

Michael Godfrey, age 53, of Lake City, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 13, 2014.

He was born in Erie, on June 6, 1961, the son of the late Loren Godfrey and Donna Adams Carnes.

After attending Girard, he worked as a laborer at various manufacturing companies. Mike liked electronics and Harley’s. He was a fan of Elvis and Days of Our Lives.

Mike is survived by his children Rickey and Marlenna Godfrey of Albion; siblings: Lauren Platz of MO, Cheryl Hermann of Springfield,

Peggy Gariepy of Lake City, Rick Godfrey of Girard, Debbie Strohmeyer of Springboro, Dick Godfrey of TX and Tina Carnes of ND, He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
