Michael G. Dugan
Michael G. Dugan passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born on June 13, 1956 to Desmond and Sally Knox Dugan. After 12 years and 10 days he joins his father in heaven. Mike loved being with his family and was a proud uncle to 17 nieces & nephews and 13 great- nieces & nephews. He was a graduate of Fairview High School class of 1974 and could be spotted on the sidelines for many years cheering for the Fairview Tigers.
Mike loved sports and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and the New York Yankees. He was a statistician and loved numbers. His favorite quote was: “These are the memories that make me a wealthy soul.”
He will be missed by his mother and best friend, four sisters and four brothers and all of his extended family and friends for his beautiful mind and Irish blue eyes. His stories will be with all of us for a lifetime.
He is survived by his mother, Sally K. Dugan; four sisters, Sally Holmgren (Jim), Kathy Dugan (Jim Hill), Pam Yusz (Danny), Molly Dugan; four brothers, J. Desmond Dugan (Terry), Pat Dugan (Cindy), Dan Dugan (Heidi) & Luke Dugan.
Friends are invited to call at the John J. Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th & Liberty St. Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and are invited to attend Prayer Services there Friday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Julia Catholic Church. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
