Michael J. Dombroskie age 45, of Erie, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Erie Independence House. He was born in Media, Pa. on July 1, 1968 a son of the late John and Marie Packer Dombroskie. He graduated from Oswayo Valley High School in 1989 and was very involved in church activities throughout his life. He was an active member of the Erie First Assembly Church where he was always known for his remarkable, cheerful disposition and smiles. He had a strong faith in Jesus Christ even in the midst of great personal trials. He never had a fear of death because he knew where he was going. He loved people and enjoyed face book. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Michael is survived by his stepfather Jack Campbell along with a sister, Sharon DeJonge of Wellsville, NY and a half- brother, Ion Campbell of Orchard Park, NY. He also leaves his uncle, Leonard and aunt Carol Packer along with several nieces and nephews. Special thanks from Michael to his devoted caregiver of eight years, Destiny Henderson. Friends may gather on Friday from 3:00 pm till 4:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, Erie, Pa. 16502 where there will be a memorial service at 4:00 pm.
