Michael Depaoli

Michael S. DePaoli age 66, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 16, 2015 at UPMC Hamot

Hospital.

He was born in Erie, PA on July 14, 1949, a son of the late Cyril and Louise Daddario DePaoli.

Michael was a graduate of McDowell High School in 1967 and worked for Pennsylvania Department of

Transportation for over 25 years, where he was county manager for many of those years.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, sailing, and scuba diving. He was a member of the Millcreek

Sportsmans Club and the Millcreek American Legion Post 773. Michael enjoyed life, loved spending time

at his hunting cabin in Warren, PA and loved his family very much. He will be sadly missed by many.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Hannah O’Neil DePaoli.

Survivors include a son Brian M. DePaoli and his wife Tera of Mars, PA, a daughter Jennifer L. DePaoli

of Washington DC.; a sister Nanette Salas and her husband Francisco of Mexico City; a brother Cyril

DePaoli Jr. and his wife Marsha of Erie; his girlfriend Denise L. Drumm of Erie; four grandchildren: Ella,

Elisia, Domenic, and Dante DePaoli.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th St. Erie, on Tuesday, from 2 -4

and 6-8pm. and are invited to attend services there on Wednesday at 11am. with Rev. John Detisch

officiating. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
