Michael Amoroso

Michael A. Amoroso age 23, of Waterford, died unexpectedly, June 9, 2013. He was born in Erie, Pa. on December 21, 1989, son of Betty l. Martin. He attended Girard High School and served proudly in the United States Army from 2008-2011 with a tour of duty in Iraq.

His hobbies included playing pool, camping and enjoying time spent with family and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant nephew, Seth Alexander in 2006. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter Lillie V. Amoroso , his sister Jessica Alexander and her husband Shawn and nephew Logan all of Waterford . He is further survived by his maternal grandparents, Glenn and Diane Ferry of Cambridge Springs along with his extended family, Leroy Neubauer, Chris Anderson, and Jason and Nicole Anderson. Aunts, uncles, cousins and military buddies from Fort Drum also remain.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, Girard, Pa. 16417 on Thursday, from 2:00 pm till the time of service there at 4:00 pm followed by military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of Burton Funeral Home.
