Melanie Wienczkowski

Melanie A. Wienczkowski, age 49 of Erie, died suddenly Sunday, April 6, 2014 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born in Erie, September 2, 1964, a daughter of the late Richard and Harriet Morey Hall.

Melanie graduated from Strong Vincent High School, attended Gannon University, and was a Medical Resident Assistant at Regency at South Shore.

She was a member of the Pulaski Club and Cascade Club, enjoyed riding motorcycles and her morning coffee time with family. Melanie was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and Jeff Gordon racing fan.

Melanie enjoyed her grandchildren, and her beloved pet “Baby”.

Survivors include her husband James Wienczkowski, two daughters: Megan Wienczkowski and Jaimie Wienczkowski, grandchildren: Hadia Abo-Zebiba and Semaj Abo-Zebiba; two brothers: James and Richard Hall of Erie.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to services there on Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial in North East Cemetery.
