Melanie Morin

Melanie Roberta Morin age 60 of Edinboro, died Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Edinboro Manor. She was born in Houlton, ME on August 18, 1955 a daughter of Roberta Tuck Cropley and the late Grover “Mickey” Cropley. She was a 1973 graduate of Presque Isle High School in Presque Isle, ME and worked for many years in the insurance industry. In later years Melanie enjoyed knitting, crochet, making jewelry and taking care of her birds.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step mother, Rose Cropley and her life partner, Arthur J. Hemstreet Sr. along with her daughter, Melissa Jo Demorest. In addition to her mother, Melanie is survived by two sons; Donny Demorest and his wife Carrie of Albion, PA, and Chris Demorest and his wife KaraLee of Erie. Three grandchildren, Cody, Aubreigh and Jakob also remain along with a brother, Gregory Cropley of Caribou, ME and a sister, Victoria Kirschmann and her husband Michael of Waterville, ME.

Services were private at the families convenience and under the care of Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, Erie, PA 16502. Memorials may be made to Edinboro Manor, 419 Waterford St., Edinboro, PA 16412.
