Mazie Huggins

Mazie Leota Huggins, age 95, formerly of Moundsville, WV and currently living at the LECOM Senior Living Center died Tuesday, May 24, 2016. She was born May 16, 1921 in Glen Dale, WV the daughter of the late James “Jim” and Josephine Little Rhome.
Mazie was a retired secretary for the Moundsville, WV Water Department; a  former secretary for Dr. Boyd, and a member of the Cedar Avenue Church of Christ in Moundsville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Nelson Huggins; a sister, Katherine Standiford; and a brother, Ivan “Buddie” Rhome.
She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Raymond “Huggy Bear” Huggins; a son, Roger Huggins (Kathy) of Erie; a daughter-in-law, Chris Huggins of St. Clairsville, OH; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the John J. Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th & Liberty St. Thursday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Further visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, WV where Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park in Wheeling, WV.
