Maxine Harvey

Maxine Borger Harvey, age 93, of Girard, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014 at home.

Born in Mosiertown, PA on February 22, 1921, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Ann Freeman Borger .

She graduated from Springboro High School. She was a lab technician for 35 years at the former Erie Resistor. She enjoyed baking cookies, crafting and antiquing.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Harvey; brother, Lewis Borger; sister, Josie Hetz and son in law, Ed Henning.

Maxine is survived by her step daughter Joetta Henning of Girard; two grandsons: Robert Casey of East Springfield and James Casey of Las Vegas; two great granddaughters; a sister in law, Shirley of Mosiertown and several nieces and a nephew.
