Maureen Frances Esper

Maureen Frances (Carroll) Esper, age 76 of Erie, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Manchester Commons.

She was born in Erie on November 3, 1946, a daughter of the late Francis Patrick and Walburga Elaine Boyd Carroll.

Maureen was a graduate of Tech Memorial HS and St. Vincent Nursing School.

She dedicated many years of her life as a Registered Nurse and truly enjoyed helping others, mostly those who suffered from various forms of addiction. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, spending time with family and friends, playing bingo, watching and collecting movies and books, and making beautiful flower arrangements for her loved ones.

In addition to her parents, Maureen was predeceased by her daughter Susan Esper, granddaughter Gabriella Esper, and brother Thomas Carroll.

She is survived by her son Brian Esper, his wife Kimberly, and their daughter Marisol; daughter Michele (Esper) Buck and her husband David; daughter Kelly (Esper) Luzier and her husband James; as well as several siblings, nieces, and nephews.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 West 26th St., on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM. and are invited to attend a service there on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 11:00am. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
