Matthew Warofka

Matthew A. Warofka, age 47, of Beaver, PA, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, October 11, 2024.

He was born in Fairview, Ohio on May 17, 1977, the son of Dale and the late Linda (Martin) Warofka.

Matt graduated from Fairview High School in Fairview, PA and he went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Edinboro University in 1999.

Upon graduation from college, Matt embarked on a rewarding career with United Parcel Service spanning more than twenty years. He advanced from package handler to supervisory positions in Pittsburgh, PA and Chantilly, VA. His career brought him great satisfaction, but the greatest joy of his life was being a father to his three children, Derek, Aaron and Alaina. Watching them grow provided the light in Matt’s life.

In addition to his children, Matt is survived by his father, Dale Warofka of Fairview; sister, Michelle Warofka of Erie; and brother, Scott Warofka and his wife Kerry and son Gavin of Spartanburg, SC.

Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Burton Funeral Home. Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Fairview, PA.
