Maryanne L. Corbin

Maryanne L. Corbin, age 57 of Erie, passed away on Sunday August 6, 2023, at Saint Vincent Hospital.

Born in Erie on May 17, 1966, a daughter of Edward “Earl” and Margaret (Johnson) Corbin.

She was a 1987 graduate of Fairview High School.  Maryanne worked at Giant Eagle for 10 years and was employed at Fairview Manor. She enjoyed making wreaths and baking and playing bingo. She had been a member of the Weis Library United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father and her niece Maddie Corbin.

Maryanne is survived by her mother; six siblings, Kimberly Corbin Jones (Jim) of Lake City, PA, Daniel Corbin (Beth) of Fairview, PA, Bonnie Bevington (Bob) of Sarasota, FL, Joseph Corbin (Susan Kelleher) of Washington, DC, Benjamin Corbin of Fairview, PA and Jennifer McKeen (Preston) Eugene, OR.  She is further survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call at Fairview Bible Church, 6100 Avonia Road, Fairview, PA on Saturday August 12, 2023, from 10:00am until the time of service at 12 noon with Reverend Christopher Preston officiating.

Burial will be in Weiss Library Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Ridge Manor Friends Forever, 8300 West Ridge Road, Girard, PA 16417 or to The Building Fund at Fairview Bible Church, PO Box 291, Fairview, PA 16415.

The family would like to give special thanks to the many family and friends who supported her over the years, especially the Fairview Class of 1987, who held a special place with Maryanne.  We also would like to acknowledge the wonderful staff at Pleasant Ridge Manor who became a second family and also the caring staff at Saint Vincent ICU.
