Mary Schloss

Mary Ann Diebold Schloss, age 76, of Millcreek, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at her residence.

She was born in Meadville on August 17, 1937 the daughter of Ethel Stellato Diebold Feltenberger of Oil City and the late Charles Diebold.

Mary Ann graduated from Oil City High School. She retired from Millcreek Township School District after 28 years of service. Mary’s greatest joy was her family. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening and reading.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard Charles Schloss; four children, Keith C. Schloss (Mary), Kathleen M. Oliver (Tom Durnwald), Daniel J. Schloss (Carla Kelley) and Steven M. Schloss (Jennifer); six grandchildren: Christine, Garrett, Karilyn, Rachel, Mackenzie and Michael; 3 great grandchildren; three brothers, John Diebold, Harry Diebold and John-Paul Feltenberger; and a sister Helen Gesing. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Harry Johns III officiating.
