Mary Pelinsky

Mary Ann Pelinsky age 94, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Sarah A. Reed Reed Senior Living Center.

She was born in Erie, PA on December 7th, 1919 the daughter of the late Josephine and Marcel Klimaszewski.

Mary retired from General Electric after 48 years of service and attended Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 1974, her brothers Romuald (Rummy), Sylvester (Benny), Leo, Casmir, Edward and a sister Josephine Skrzypek .

She is survived by her daughters Cathy Szklinski and husband Rich of State College, PA and Patti Matczak of Fairview . She is further survived by her grandchildren David (Lucy) Szklinski of State College, PA; John (Jill) Szklinski of Charlotte, NC; Lorre Robey(Dr. Dave ) of Southhampton, PA; Scott McLauglin (Ann) of Wattsburg and Maria (Gary) Sycz of North Ridgeville, OH and great grandchildren Jen (Ben); Kristin(KP); Jeffrey, Andrew, Devyn, Michael, Alison, Corey, Brad, Michael, Nicholas and Olivia and four great great grandchildren Conner, Eddie, Cameryn and Noah. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

In the hope that Mary could help others, she made the ultimate gift and donated her body to benefit Pennsylvania medical education and research.

Thank you to the entire staff at Sarah Reed for the outstanding care they gave to Mary.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
