Mary Odom

Mary Odom, age 69, of Erie, died on Sunday July 21, 2013.

She was born in Union City, PA on August 28, 1943 daughter of the late John Carniewski and Beatrice Hayes.

Mary was a great mother and very hard worker. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren, lottery tickets, going to the casino, watching movies, shopping, and spending time with Florence and Pat.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by James and John Carniewski, her brothers, and an infant sister Katie Carniewski.

Mary is survived by her children: Marcia Odom (Bryan Craven, fiancé), of Erie: Steve (Linda) Odom, of Erie: Michael (Teresa) Odom, of North Carolina: Mindy (Daniel) Williams, of Erie: her sister: Florence McWilliams, of Erie: Pat Kimmey, of Union City: Gerry Middleton, of Union City: Rose Swan, of Union City: her brothers: Julius (Diane) Carniewski, of Union City: Lewis (Elaine) Carniewski, of Erie: and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home, 602 West 10th Street, on Wednesday July 24, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Burial will be private.
