Mary Hillman

Mary Jean Galeski-Hillman, age 57, was born in Erie on April 10, 1960. She went on to be with the lord on October 28, 2017 surrounded by family at UPMC Hamot.

Mary enjoyed country music, puzzles, bingo, and family time, especially with her “grannies”.

She is preceded in death by her father, Leonard Galeski Sr. and her husband, Terry L. Hillman.

Mary is survived by her mother, Helen Simmers; stepfather, Herb Simmers; 5 daughters, Lynnette Hess, Stacey Young, Alicia Cox, Sommerrae Seelinger, and Erica Hillman; a son, Victor Young III; 4 brothers Christopher Miller, Robert Miller, Leonard Galeski Jr., James Galeski, and Herbert Simmers Jr.; 2 sisters, Susan Renfro and Nancy Douglas; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Friends are invited to call at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 1101 South Hill Road, on Wednesday, November 1^st from 11:00am until the time of service there at 1:00pm. Burial will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery at a later date.
