Mary Ellen Young

Mary Ellen Young age 71, of Millcreek, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 17, 1945 a daughter of the late Francis “Jim” and Mary Watts Renaud.

Mary was a master crafter and loved crafts of all kinds. She enjoyed scrapbooking, making and publishing greeting cards, ceramics, painting and needle point. She also enjoyed spending time with her ladies group which called themselves the “Honey Lunch Bunch” and was an avid reader.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Carla Young.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Alan “Keith” Young; a son, Brian Young and his wife Jayme; six grandchildren, Brandon, Emily, Abbi, Tyler and Kyleigh Young and Adam Lawrence; a brother, James “Dan” Renaud; a sister, Joyce Vogt and her husband Fran; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 W. 26th Street, (at Powell Ave) on Friday at 2:00 p.m.
