Mary Elder

Mary Ann Elder, age 89, of Erie passed away on Saturday April 3, 2021 at St. Mary’s Asbury Ridge.

She was born on January 3, 1932, a daughter of the late Stephen and Susan Mayerchak.

Mary Ann worked at Ervite for many years.

She enjoyed bowling at Greengarden Lanes, reading and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Macray Elder; 8 brothers and 2 sisters.

Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Suzanne (Curt) Falk of Erie; a brother, Robert (Susanne) Mayerchak.  She is further survived by two grandchildren, Christopher (Carrie) Falk and Andrea Falk (Barry); three great grandchildren, Jasper Valke, Corey Falk and Kasey Falk; and many nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank Debbie Smith of Home Instead for her kindness and compassion she gave to Mary Ann.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott at West Ridge, 3801 W. 26^th St. on Wednesday from 5:00pm until the time of the service at 7:00pm.
