Mary Beeman

Mary Beeman, age 76, of Girard, passed away on Sunday January 29, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on October 15, 1946, at home in Elk Creek Township, the daughter of the late Frank and Louise Santeral Bartosek.

Mary was a graduate of Northwestern High School. Her family meant the world to her. She was a volunteer at Franklin Center Fire Hall where she also ran the kitchen for many years.  She enjoyed visiting Florida.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Beeman; a son: James H. Beeman; 4 brothers, Frank, Louis, Vincent and Anthony and a sister, Vicky; two grandchildren: Celena and Orion Bartosek; two nephews: Matthew Bartosek and Brandon Bartosek.

She is survived by her two daughters, Shannon (Ray) Konetsky of Florida and Lisa Hand of Girard; three sons: Jason (Melissa)Bartosek of Conneautville, Michael (Peres) Bartosek of California, Thomas (Tatia)Swanson of Erie; two sisters, Gloria (Bill) Forsythe and Gelsa (George) Sydow; four brothers, Ed (Ann) Bartosek, Mark Bartosek, Richard (Mickey) Bartosek and Joe (Cora) Bartosek; 16 grandchildren: Michael (Angela), Ashley, Megan (Joey), Brittany, Aaron, Codey, R.J., Franky, Julia, Joshua (Carly), Lindsey (Justin), Brent, Jessica, Cassandra, Tyler and Victoria; 12 great grandchildren; Mackenzie, Mason, Nicholas, Jacob, Elijah, Lorelei, Cyrus, Bella, Remington, Jared, Emma and Gladyalee; a special niece, Kathleen Orr as well as many other nieces and nephews and her best friend June Zygai. 

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East in Girard on Thursday February 2, 2023 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and may attend a funeral service Friday at 10:00am.  Private burial to follow.
