Mary Alice Carrick Kabasinski, age 90 of Erie, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Twinbrook Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
She was born in Cleveland, OH on April 20, 1930, a daughter of Martin and Lorena Anderson Carrick.
Mary Alice was a 1948 graduate of Strong Vincent High School. She worked as a clerk for Kmart retiring in 1993 after 33 years of service. She was a former member of St. Patrick’s Church and of the Polish National Alliance Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Joseph Francis Kabasinski and her brother-in-law, John J. Kabasinski.
She is survived by her niece, Patty Thompson and her husband Mark Thompson, Sr. of Erie, a sister-in-law, Veronica “Ronnie” Kulesza and her husband Ed of Cincinnati, OH, several nieces and two nephews, Mark Thompson, Jr. and his wife Andrea and Tim Thompson, both of North East, PA.
Family and friends are invited to a chapel service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 3 p.m. The Rev. David Miles, Chaplain of Heartland Hospice, will officiate. All CDC guidelines will be followed, social distancing and masks are required.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street.
