Martha Gray

Martha Gray age 91, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at her residence.

She was born in Armstrong County on August 5, 1932, a daughter of the late Ralph and Ida Roudybush Boney. 

Martha worked at Sarah A. Reed and in private care for several families. 

She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church. 

Martha enjoyed gardening and attending church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who she loved to display lots of photos of and always would look for gifts for them while shopping. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Kenneth Gray; a son, Alan Gray; and her siblings, Ruth Baum, Edith “June” Shields, Mabel Titus, Ida Mae Murphy, Carrie Dunn, Howard “Frank Boney, Robert Boney, James Boney and Ralph (Ward) Boney. 

She is survived by her four children, Barbara Piechotka (Russ), Linda Reynolds (Tom), Dennis Gray and Nancy Dombrowski (Tim); 5 grandchildren, Sarah Groner, Gina Groner, Devin Dombrowski (Michelle), Andrew Piechotka and Jennifer Gray; siblings, Mary Fair, Lloyd Boney and Norman (Sonny) Boney; and several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. 

The family would like to thank the staff at the Regency for all of their care and support they gave to Martha. 

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26th Street on Friday, February 16th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, February 17th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
