Marlene Sestak

Marlene “Sue” Sestak, age 78, of Girard, passed away, Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at her residence.

She was born in Erie, on November 9, 1939, a daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret Shepegi Stancliff.

Sue graduated from Fairview High School in 1957 and had worked at Spectrum Control as an assembler for many years.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John in 2009.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Jessica Angle and her husband Jay of Stafford, VA and son, John Sestak of Girard; two grandchildren, Kayla and Adam Angle; a sister, Marilyn Principe of Charlotte, NC; and two brothers, Thomas and Timothy Stancliff, both of Fairview.  She is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East in Girard on Sunday from 2 pm until the time of the service at 5pm.

Inurnment will be at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery at a later date.
