Marlene Osborn

Marlene R. Brozell Osborn, age 75, of Erie, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Erie on December 4, 1940, daughter of the late Donald J. and Jessie Sterrett Brozell.

Marlene graduated from Fairview High School and attended Summit United Methodist Church. Marlene worked along with her husband on the family egg farm. She also worked at Lynn’s Hallmark Store and Wegmans. Marlene enjoyed spending winters in Florida with her husband.

The most important part of her life was her family and she was very involved caring for her grandchildren. Marlene was a caregiver to her mother for many years before she passed away.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by husband, Merton L. Osborn, two daughters, Michelle Lindenberger and her husband Brian and Marla Brace and her husband Eric, three grandchildren, Kyle Brace and Danielle and Brielle Lindenberger, all of Erie; a sister, Ruby Kurtz and a niece and nephew, all of Ohio.

Services and Burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
