Mark P. Wysocki, age 48 of Millcreek, died Monday, January 07, 2013 at St. Vincent Health Center following a brief illness.
He was born in Erie, May 1, 1964, son of Nina Gorelikow Wysocki of Erie and the late Raymond Wysocki.
Mark graduated from McDowell High School. He was previously employed at Lowe's and most recently as a field technician at Urban Engineers. He was a member of the American Legion, Millcreek Post # 773; a past SAL commander and past member of the color guard there; a Fellow and Past Governor of the Moose Lodge # 66. Mark was a Pittsburgh Steeler fan, a NASCAR (Denny Hamlin) fan, and he enjoyed camping and building model cars.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Afanasy and Aksana Gorelikow.
In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by his wife, Della Mealy Wysocki; three children, Gina, Andrea and Bryan Franz; a brother, Raymond J. Wysocki, Jr. and his wife, Carol. Four grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street, (at Powell Avenue) on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. A service will be held there on Thursday morning at 11:00.
Burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
