Mark Stephen Lamphier

Mark Stephen Lamphier age 56, of Girard, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at his residence,

following a brief battle with cancer.

He was born in Quincy, Mass on November 7, 1964 a son of the late James F. and Gertrude Benzi

Lamphier.

He was born and raised in Massachusetts, graduated from Brockton High School. Mark moved to Erie in

2001 and had worked as a car salesman for several Erie County Car Dealers. Most of those years with

Ferrando Ford and most recently with Cunningham Chrysler Dodge. He was known for his Boston

accent. Loved cars and driving everywhere. He was very social, loved his family and so many good

friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Christina Lamphier Ambrose.

He is survived by his loving companion, Jodi Curtis; a son Jake Lavey; sisters, Michele Lamphier and

Edith (Paul) Binkley of Michigan; two brothers, John Lamphier of Brockton, Mass; and Jimmy Lamphier

of Maine. He is further survived by four nieces, Taylor Ann Sanborn, Gina Marie Sanborn, Margaret

Lamphier and Lisa Lamphier; and his extended families, The Dearborn family; Paolini Dzambi; Brent and

Judy Crane; and close friends.
