Mark Robertson

Mark Charles Robertson, age 62, of Erie, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born in Erie on January 15, 1955 a son of the late Charles Donald and Margaret Ellen Dahlquist Robertson.

Mark Graduated from McDowell High School in 1972. In his early days, he liked working on hot rods.

He worked as a truck driver for Dodsworth Trucking for many years, then was an independent kitchen designer and contractor, for the past 13 years at Lowes in the Kitchen Department.

Mark was a member of Teamsters Local #397, a past member of the Millcreek American Legion #773 and a life member of the Erie Sportsman’s Club where he served as past Vice President. Mark was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan and enjoyed fishing, golfing and woodworking and was a dog lover.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Marlene Szychowski Robertson; a son, Ron Slupski Jr. of Erie; a brother, Tim Robertson and his wife Paula of Fairview; a sister, Lisa Robertson Douglas and her husband Doug; two nieces, Coral and Starr Douglas all of Fort Lauderdale, FL and a nephew, Chad Robertson of Fairview.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert Lewis officiating.
