Mark Allen Meyer

Mark Allen Meyer, age 67, of Girard, passed away on Thursday August 22, 2024, with his wife by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on May 25, 1957, in Erie, PA, a son to the late Richard and Audrey Whipple Meyer.

Mark graduated in 1975 from Tech Memorial High School in Erie. He worked at Dahlkemper Brothers, Country Gardens and Fairview Hardware. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard, loved fishing and would often take rides around the Peninsula. His family meant the world to him.

Mark is survived by his wife, Robin Meyer; sons, Thomas Allen Meyer (Caitlin), Demetrius Beam (Lisa), Russell Beam (Michele); daughter, Rachel Crowl (Charlie); grandchildren, Thomas Jr., Kinsley, Owen, Madeline, Ellie, Isabella, Maia, Liam, Dominic and Dylan; brothers, Dale Meyer (Jane), Don Meyer and Bruce Meyer (Gayle); sister, Susan Runstedler (Ron) and brother-in-law, John Adams (Kelly) as well as many loved nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, Girard on Monday August 26, 2024, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and are invited to attend a funeral service there on Tuesday at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Children Erie, 1645 W, 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
