Mark Edward Jares

Mark Edward Jares, age 67, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Saint Vincent Hospital. He was born in Erie, May 27, 1956 to the late Bernard and Elizabeth Cabaday Jares. Mark was a Journeyman Printer for Dispatch Printing.

He was a Cleveland sports fan, loving the Indians, the Browns, and the Cavaliers. Mark was an avid fisherman, bowler, horseshoe player, and loved going to the casino. He was a member of the Polish Falcons Club, and the Fulton Club. Mark always wanted the whole family to get together at the house, especially to throw epic 4^th of July parties.

Mark is survived by his wife Mary, his children Mike Jares (Susan), Bryan Jares, Nick Jares (Marissa), and his grandchildren Myla Farrell, and Carter Jares. He is further survived by his siblings, Susan Stark (Tom), Jean Smith, Tim Jares (Gail), and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, David, Tom, and Scott Jares, a brother-in-law Gary Smith, his nieces Erica and Kelly Jares, and his nephew Christopher Stark.
