Mark Birkner

Mark Lex Birkner, age 67, of Lake City, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 in his home.

He was born in Erie on October 14, 1954, a son of the late Alfred and Margaret Luke Birkner.

Mark graduated from Girard High School in 1972 and had worked various jobs in the construction field.

He enjoyed woodworking, cooking, hunting, metal detecting and spending time with his family.

Mark is survived by three sons, Ryan (Carrie) Birkner, Darren (Maisie) Birkner and Nathan (Meagan) Birkner; and a sister, Linda Diane (Charles) Miller.  He is further survived by six grandchildren, Chloe, Hailey, Lennox, Jordyn, Audriana and Bennett; as well as a nephew, Paul (Tami) Miller and niece, Carrie (Michael) Miller.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard on Wednesday, August 31^st from 5:00 pm until the time of the prayer service at 7:00pm. and are invited to a graveside service at the Girard Cemetery on Thursday, September 1^st at 10:00 am.

Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
