Marjorie Stanger

Marjorie A. Niederriter Stanger, age 70, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at her residence.

She was born on May 10, 1950, in Erie, to the late Michael J. and Margaret Loeffler Niederriter.

Marjorie graduated from Academy High School. She was an avid hockey fan and loved the Erie Otters. Marjorie enjoyed traveling to Florida to spend the winter months and loved to swim.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Burke Stanger.

She will be missed by her son, Dr. Eric Stanger and his wife, Linda; her partner, Lloyd Shampoe; beloved longtime best friends, Denise and Mike Evans; niece, Kathy Trombacco; and goddaughter, Rebecca Carrick and her son, Talon.

Services were private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc Downtown, 602 W. 10^th St., Erie 16502.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Crisis Services, 2560 W 12th St, Erie, PA 16505.
