Marjorie Ramsdell

Marjorie Ramsdell, age 68, of Erie, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Encompass Health. She was born in Erie, December 12, 1954 to the late Harry and Ruth Ramsdell. Marjorie graduated from North East High School, class of 1972, and attended Fredonia University and Penn State University.

She worked for General Electric for many years. Marjorie loved baseball, she was the biggest Boston Red Sox fan, and enjoyed watching the New England Patriots. In her spare time, she used to play, and coach the Erie County Farms softball team in the 1970’s and 1980’s. Marjorie played trumpet in the Erie Junior Philharmonic. Marjorie loved all animals, especially her pets, Jada, Bogey, and Brady.

She is survived by her wife, Barbara Kiehl, who she was with for 45 years, and married for 9. Marjorie is further survived by her three nephews, Dan Hanson (Jennifer), Steve Ramsdell, and Mark Ramsdell, by her great nephew A.J, and great nieces Alys and Ashlee. She is survived by her siblings in law, Charlene Gale, Jane Sickman, Carol Vanetti, Harold Kiehl (Deb), and David Kiehl (Wendy).

Friends are invited to call on the family Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. West Ridge 3801 West 26^th Street.
