Marjorie Parrett

March 1, 1937 — February 12, 2016

Marjorie Marie Webb Parrett, 78, formerly of W. 24th Street, died on Friday, February 12, 2016, at the Village at Luther Square.  She was born on March 1, 1937, in Meadville, PA, daughter of the late Brock Allison and Frances Josephine Boyles Webb.  A 1967 graduate of Tech Memorial High School, she worked for Troy-Erie Laundry for 20 years retiring in 1997, and then worked for Megacards for 12 years.  Marjorie enjoyed playing Bingo, crocheting, fishing, camping and cooking.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Wilmer S. "Wimpy" Parrett in 1997; her stepfather, Phillip Rung; a grandson, Shannon James Lieder; a brother, Harvey Webb; sister-in-law, Patricia Webb; and brothers-in-law, Richard Eliason and John Cribbs.
     Survivors include a daughter, Patricia A. Lieder-Beers and husband John P. of Erie; three sons, Wilmer R. Parrett and wife Brenda and Danny C. Parrett and mate Alice Rupp, all of Erie, and Lester L. Parrett and wife Tammy of Centerville, PA; two sisters, Charlotte Eliason- McIntosh of Erie and Susan Cribbs of CA; three brothers, Frank Webb, Albert Webb and wife Gayle, and Robert Webb, all of Erie; ten grandchildren, Robert E. Lieder III and wife Heather, Taylor A. Beers, Jason M. Parrett, Lyndee M. Parrett-Overmoyer and husband Mack Jr., Nickolas Parrett, Jake Parrett, Travis Parrett, Christopher Amacher, Brian Amacher and wife Megan, and Miranda Bosley and husband Jamie; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
     Friends may call Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street.  A service will be held there Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William G. Cox, Chaplain of the Village at Luther Square, officiating.  Memorials may be made to Regional Home Health & Hospice, 2564 Village Common Drive, Erie, PA 16506.
