Marjorie J. Morehouse, age 82, of Albion, formerly of Lake City, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Pleasant Ridge Manor.
She was born on September 30, 1938, in Erie, a daughter of the late Andrew and Lorreta Schaefer Arnold. Marjorie attended school at St. John’s and Wilson Jr. High and graduated from Academy High School. She worked as a tester of electronics products for Spectrum Control for 21 years. Marjorie was a member of Lake City Methodist Church and was active in Cub and Girl Scouting.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Thomas, and her grandchild, Johnathan Swanson.
She is survived by her three sons, Thomas Morehouse Jr., Jeffrey Morehouse, both of Kissimmee, FL, and Jerome (Michelle) Morehouse, of Albion, and her daughter, Pamela (William) Swanson, of Waterford. She is further survived by six grandchildren, Jeff, Jerome, Stacey, David, Katie and Sarah; four great grandchildren, Brandy, Shelby, Chevy and Lennox; and two great great grandchildren, Kinley and Maycen.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street, Girard, PA 16417, on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. in Burton’s All Faith Chapel with Reverend Jason Tickle, of the Lake City United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. All CDC guidelines will be followed and masks will be required.
