Marjorie Long

November 2, 1928 — October 28, 2017

Marjorie A. “Marge” Long, age 89, of Millcreek, passed away on Saturday October 28, 2017 at LECOM Senior Living Center. Marge was born in November 2, 1928, daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy Minton Long.

She graduated from Millcreek High School and worked as a clerk for many years and retired from the American Sterilizer Company. Marge was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church since 1941, and was active in the United Methodist Women, participated in the card ministry, was a long time Sunday School Teacher and served on many committees. Many have been touched by her thoughtfulness.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother James Long.

Friends may attend a Memorial Service at Asbury United Methodist Church (26th and Asbury Road Erie)on  Sunday, November 5th immediately following the 11:00 am Worship Service , with Rev. Bruce Davis officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Asbury UMC Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to  the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street Erie, PA 16506.
