Marjorie Anne Gallagher Gallo Hollinger passed away peacefully Saturday, March 9, 2013 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born in Ridgway, PA on July 7, 1928.

She was a resident of Methodist Towers for 17 years and had lived in Erie her whole life.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rachel Wolford Gallagher and her father, Jonathan Gallagher. Also preceding her in death were her first husband Henry E. Gallo, her second husband, Henry G. Hollinger, her brother, William A. Gallagher, and a granddaughter, Gayle Alice Brown.

Marjorie's survivors include her son, Henry E. Hollinger and his wife Kim and daughter Alice H. Brown and her husband Dudley. Also surviving are her grandson Henry Hollinger (Amanda), three granddaughters: Rachel Ferretti (Steve), Erin A. Brown (fiancé Chris Davis), and Barbara Grande (Mike).

Also surviving are five great-grandsons: Conor and Gavin Ferretti, Roland, Rocco and Rory Grande, and "old orange Chuck," her daughter's 18-year-old cat, and several cousins.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Services and burial in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the A.N.N.A. Shelter, 1555 E 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511, in remembrance of Margie's love of cats.
