Marjorie Cantor

M. Janet Kaiser Cantor, age 86, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at her residence.

She was born in Erie, PA on March 30, 1928 daughter of the late John and Flora Dawley Bannister.

Janet was a graduate of Academy High School class of 1946 and was employed at the Veterans Administration Hospital and Twins restaurant.

Janet was involved in Lighted Steeple People, her church group at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church. She also enjoyed playing cards and seek a word games.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Frederick Charles Kaiser, her son John Kaiser in April of 2014, as well as three sisters and one brother.

Survivors include her son Charles (Kim) Kaiser of Mooresville, NC; Susan Pulliam of Erie, PA; Sharon Kaiser of Erie, PA; Paul (Shelly) Cantor of Erie, PA. Her second husband Ray (Shirley) Cantor of Erie, PA; her daughters-in-law Cindy Kaiser and Toni Kaiser both of Erie; twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street Erie, PA 16502 on Monday from 12:00 noon until the time of service there at 3:30 p.m. with Reverend Harry H. Johns, III officiating. Burial will be private.
