Marjorie Augustine

July 18, 1925 — March 15, 2013

Marjorie Kull Augustine age 87, of Millcreek, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013 at Golden Living Center at Walnut Creek.

She was born in Moundsville, WV on July 18, 1925 a daughter of the late Charles and Opal McDowell Kull.

Marjorie graduated from Wellsburg High school.

She worked as a secretary for Wheeling Steel, Ridgefield Elementary School, Westlake Middle School and at MIHS until her retirement.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

She was also a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Assoc., where she held many offices and was named along with her husband in 1994 the Pennsylvania State Couple by the Association.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John William Augustine Sr.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Laino of New York City; two sons, John Augustine, Jr. and his wife Diane and Richard Scot Augustine both of Erie; a sister, JoAnn Mechling and her husband Gerald of Glen Dale, WV; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Services were held by the family.

Arrangements entrusted to the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
