Marion (Tomasik) Miller, age 88 of Erie passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 at the Regency at South Shore with her family at her side. She was born January 18, 1933 in Erie the daughter of the late Joseph and Cecylia (Siemenowski) Tomasik
Marion worked at Quinberry Johnson for 30 years before retiring and enjoying her home part time in Beverly Hills, Florida. Her greatest pride and joy were her children. She was very proud of all of them and what they were able to accomplish. Being a working mom, she said the Our Father daily for God to watch over us while she worked. People who knew her described her as kind, gentle, sweet, and with a quick wit. She enjoyed dancing, shopping, reading, attending the Polish and German Festivals, traveling with her sister, a highlight being their trip to Hawaii. In her earlier years, sewing, baking and cooking-her Sunday dinners were legendary.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Miller; brother Henry Tomasik; her beloved sister Dorothy Danylko, and beloved daughter- in- law, Kum Cha Miller.
Marion is survived by her five children: Pamela Baker (Neal), Ann Bruno (James), Darlene DiMichele (Robert), Craig Miller (Kathy) and Gary Miller. Her special nieces who were always so thoughtful to her: Carolyn, Christine, Susan, Deborah, and Doreen. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. The traits she passed on to us were kindness, independence, determination, and a bit of stubbornness. She will be missed by all of us.
The family wishes to thank Erie VNA Hospice and the caring staff at the Regency where she resided for the past several years for their wonderful care.
